Data storage and transmission
Scan results are stored locally in the user's browser using Chrome extension storage.
Scan results are not transmitted to the developer or sold to third parties.
When a user purchases, manages, or restores a paid plan, the extension sends a randomly generated installation identifier and, when needed, the purchase email address to https://ravtechie.com/product/ for billing and subscription validation.
Payment details are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored by the extension.
Permissions
activeTab, tabs, and scripting allow the extension to identify and scan the current tab only after the user selects Scan. The extension does not collect or transmit the user's browsing history.
storage saves scan results and extension preferences locally.
Access to all website addresses (<all_urls>) lets the user run the scanner on supported webpages without approving each site separately. Page content is accessed only when the user selects Scan.
Access to https://ravtechie.com/product/ is used for checkout, billing management, and subscription validation.
Retention and deletion
Users can delete scanned results with the extension's Clear button or remove all locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension. Billing records may be retained where required for payment processing, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
